After the disspointment of Silverstone we got to work quickly getting Woodstock fixed, brand new bearings on the rear wheels and a promise to carry hot swap spares for future rounds we went to Donington full of confidence - with a hint of trepidation.

We know Woodstock is on song at the moment, Silverstone proved it and I know my driving has improved since last season, but by how much??  It was impossible to get a bench mark at Silverstone so we went to Donington with essentially an unknown package.

Friday night was spent in the garage getting Woodstock`s new stickers on - I wanted to go with the Ayrton Senna style tribute stripes but not being professional vinyl wrappers we needed to keep the design simple.  Huge thank you`s to Mark Chappell, Mike Brown, Neil & Mark Jackson as well as CSCC Mic Man Mark Werrell for help with that in the garage past everyones bedtime.  The results are amazing and Wooders looks fantastic - I`m so pleased, thanks so much guys.

You might notice the Eddie Jordan tribute as well if you look closely enough ;-)

So onto qualifying - I know Donington pretty well so was able to get on it straight away and traded pole times with Jamie Clare and Luke Johnson however the session was cut short due to a couple of cars off circuit with about 7 mins to go.  Although we`d got pole I knew everyone could go quicker so headed to to the race pleased to be up front but also unsure of how things were likely to go.

You can watch our race review commentary video here.......enjoy!

So that was that!  WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO - What a day it was.

Thanks to everyone who came along to support, I always appreciate people giving up their days to come and see us race, means a lot, cheers guys.

So whats on the to-do list between now and the next round at Cadwell on 18th May?  well a god clean and polish and we`ll be good to go!

See you then :-)

Cheers

Jon.
