Puma Cup - Round 5 - Snetterton 300 - Ian Howard

It`s the Summertime.......it`s my birthday weekend.......Ozzy is playing his final show......and I`m at Snetterton!  Life is good :-)

Ian was back in the car for this round and having raced round this track fairly recently in the Focus Cup, Friday testing wasn`t necessary so we got Wooders prepped and went straight into Qualifying.

Ian went like the clappers and Wooders was on good form however.....our exhaust issues hadn`t gone away, despite a between races fix, it was pretty loud and fairly sure we were losing some bhp because of it.  

P2 in qualifying, 0.8s off Marcus Williams pole time set in a pretty damp and slippy session.  Keen to get the exhaust fixed, massive thanks to....the chap whose name I didn`t get but races a beautiful Nissan in the Swinging Sixties series who lent us his TIG welder and also to Nick Fulljames who was the only person in the paddock we could find who knew how to TIG weld.  Fix done and off to the races....
